I like getting tips from several sources as some work better for me than others. Your booklet was very helpful.
Bows have always been very difficult for me, I'm not sure exactly why. But I've always watched Damon in his tutorials make his bows. I've never seen him make a bad bow. He makes it look so easy and he hardly ever "fluffs" that much cause it comes out so perfect. I heard him talking about this Bow Book on one of his tutorials and I instantly bought it. At first I didn't understand it, but I read, re-read, and practiced. The photo I included shows the bow I made using Damon's Bow Book. I am so happy with it for the first time and I didn't have to take it apart and redo it! I still need lots of practice but at least it looks half decent and resembles a bow! Thank you Damon and Deco Exchange for this Bow Book! I actually can't wait to make bows now!!
What a GREAT book! Simple, detailed instructions, with clear photos, that show how to make the most commonly used bows. Something every beginner bow maker should own.
Although having experienced making bows, "The Bow Handbook" offers great tips and bonuses. It helped me with ribbon selection and how to use all those scraps.
So impressed with the recipes for each individual bow. Great book to have on hand to produce professional looking bows.

Don't like the "scan me" feature. I don't have the QPR scanner on my phone. Don't need more apps! I am not tech savvy and would have liked to view this on my computer.
I was a little overwhelmed by this book. I'm an old fart that is not into all the new technology of today with scanning codes, etc. I just wanted a printed copy of a step-by-step book on how-to-do bows without having to scan a code on my phone or computer. I am old school and a visual learner with pictures. I'm also doing this for something to keep me busy and not to sell or do mass production. I'm sure it is a great book for the more tech crowd.
Most of the information in this book is available in Design school so I feel like I really wasted my money. Thanks for the opportunity to express my experience.
Nice to get yardage on use of ribbon in the bows. Quite the learning curve. Initially I bought high end ribbon which is rather costly. I have toned down on it a bit!!!
Great book for my daughter, who is learning how to create bows! She will love it. I love the step by step instructions and pictures. Super fast shipping!
The most important part I found very useful was the videos and the calculation of ribbon usage and cost. Also, the business tips. The illustrations in the book are great.
One item that would be useful is how to make a bow when using ribbons that have designs that are one directional. Don't want an upside down Snowman.
Love the actual hardcopy book and love the ability to scan the code for each bow and receive a detailed, compact video. The videos are extremely helpful. I highly recommend this book.
I received the Bow book but thought it would have had more examples of bow designs for the price I paid. I've seen other demos of bows using different types of bow makers. That would have been nice to see a step by step example. Other than that the book is an OK.
